As a prelude to our conference, we bring to you a masterclass on "Narratives and Social Justice among the Hyper-Marginalised" by Dr. Anant Kamath, Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Advanced Studies, IISc Bangalore.

Dr. Kamath will delve into the significance of oral narratives by drawing insights from his book "Urban Undesirables: Volume 1: City Transition and Street-Based Sex Work in Bangalore". He will also discuss the use of ethnographic practices and research methodologies in understanding marginalised communities and their experiences. Through an exploration of oral histories, the masterclass aims to shed light on the spatial and social ecosystems of the hyper-marginalised communities and their experiences with technology amidst urban transformation.
